Green Practices


Here at Neuman Hotel Group we have developed an ongoing multi-level strategy for environmental responsibility. Together with our team members we look at our daily operations and find ways to diminish our impact on the Planet. Join us in being part of our sustainability efforts.

With our daily choices we can shift the trajectory of human future.

Ashland Springs Hotel and LARKS Restaurant:

  • EV chargers.
  • Guest room toiletries offered in large, refillable bottles, as opposed to formerly used small toiletries that end up in landfill.
  • Housekeeping offered upon request with the aim of preserving water and minimizing detergent use on laundry.
  • Use of eco-friendly laundry and cleaning products by EcoLab.
  • Recycle all paper, glass, and cans.
  • Source and offer only sustainable wines at LARKS Restaurant.
  • Recycle cooking oil.
  • Compost all vegetable scraps.
  • Offer water upon request to guests at LARKS.
  • LARKS and catering menus executed using locally sourced produce and meat.
  • Use recycled to-go boxes, compostable straws, and to-go cups, and only offer plastic silverware on-demand.

Ashland Hills Hotel & Suites and LUNA Café:

  • EV chargers.
  • Moving towards replacing all small toiletries that normally end in landfill with large refillable bottles in each room (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel).
  • Housekeeping offered upon request with the aim of preserving water and minimizing detergent use on laundry.
  • Recycle all paper, glass, and cans.
  • Recycle cooking oil.
  • Compost all vegetable scraps.
  • Offer water upon request to guests at LUNA.
  • Use of eco-friendly laundry and cleaning products by EcoLab.

Lithia Springs Resort & Wine Garden:

  • Wine Garden partnership with local wine makers whose practices are biodynamic, organic, sustainable, and regenerative. Partners include: Cowhorn Vineyard & Garden, Plaisance Ranch, Quady North Winery, and Troon Vineyard.
  • Compost breakfast leftovers and use in our vegetable and fruit garden. 
  • Moving towards replacing all small toiletries that normally end in landfill with refillable bulk containers in each room (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel).
  • Recycle all paper, glass, and cans.
  • Use of eco-friendly laundry and cleaning products by EcoLab.

Waterstone Spa:

  • Offering organic products in all spa treatments.
  • Selling organic skin products packaged in recycled materials.
